Ok, this is the product that made me want to start a blog(well part of the reason). I bought this product a few months ago; can't really remember when I bought it but I remember seeing Liquid Palisade in Allure magazine and I had to have it. I recently started getting into painting my own nails and I'm ok at it. I really really hate when the nail polish gets on the sides of my nails and past my cuticles....and that's why I bought Liquid Palisade. I thought this product will help me have better looking manicure without any mistakes and it didn't.
Maybe it was me or something(doubt it) but I couldn't really use it. When you open it, the first thing you notice is the bad smell. I was willing to look past that so I decided to apply it on my cuticle area and the sides of my nail. You would think that the application would be as simple as pie but uh-nooooo it wasn't. Either you get to much liquid or to little on the brush(inside of the bottle there's like a stopper if that's what it's called) and the application is not smooth; if you don't have steady hands...forget about it! When it dries it turns into like rubber/latex consistency which suppose to make it easy to pull it off but really wasn't. Also, because it has a stopper, you have to be careful how you put the brush back into the tube because if you don't this is what happens:
I had no idea that the tube had a stopper until after the above happened and I couldn't use the brush at all. I tried to get the bristles of the brush together but it was no use...it would separate.... making it hard to apply on the nails. This product cost me $22 bucks and thank god I didn't buy another tube when I first ordered this one. I really don't think this product is worth it; I rather stick to dipping q-tip into nail polish remover to fix any mistakes and call it a day.
If you would like to learn or buy the product to try for yourselves(you might have better luck than me) you could click this link: http://liquidpalisade.com/indexb.php
This is my first product review and hope I gave a good description of the product but if I didn't and you want to ask me a question...ask me in the comments below.
